Canned Abalone
With four factories and a number of depots in Tasmania, we have developed
a well organised network which ensures abalone are transported from
sea to factory without delay. With over 27 years in the Canned Abalone
business, we have developed superior canning techniques. We continually
monitor these processes to ensure that they meet strict quality control
guidelines. By building quality into our processes, we can consistently
produce premium products. The abalone we receive for processing spans
a large range of grades and sizes. In order to supply our customers
with a consistent product, our specially trained personnel grade the
abalone before canning. Each cardboard carton contains 24 cans and
minimum purchase orders are 60 cartons per shipment. Grades A, B and
C are presented as whole or whole and cut and packed as:
24 cans x 425g net (140g drained mass),
24 cans x 425g net (160g drained mass),
24 cans x 425g net (180g drained mass),
24 cans x 425g net (200g drained mass),
24 cans x 425g net (213g drained mass).
